Thanks to the chemical analysis Rumex K-1 can be widely applied as the raw material for making the treatment- prophylaxis food admixtures and in invalid food rations. Such developments are at present the point of activity produced by the scientists of the Research Nutrition Institute of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The high content of organic forms of iron, zinc, copper, ascorbic acid and group-B vitamins participates directly in sanguification processes. As for anti-anemic activity this BAA rather exceeds the used ferro products as in its composition it is presented the more accessible form of iron and the substances which increase its bio-accessibility (assimilability). Besides the regular application of BAA will allow significantly to correct the organism deficit in vitamins C, B-group and zink, and also occurring the immune-deficit states. BAA has practically no contra-indications and can be assigned for children and it is possible to take for a long period of time.
In 100g of the admixture it is contained:
340-360 ìg of iron, 29-32 ìg of zinc, 7-8 ìg of copper, 80-90 ìg of vitamin Ñ, whereas the daily requirement of the adult in iron is 10-15 ìg, in zinc - 10-22 ìg, in copper - 2,1-2,3 ìg.
Thus, the reception of BAA 25g per day fully fills up the daily requirements of the adult in such important for sanguification microelements as iron, zink and copper.
The indicators of BAA application:
iron-deficit anaemia of easy and average heaviness degree, precautions of iron-deficit states with pregnant women and nursing mothers, athrofic inflammatory sicknesses of upper sections of gastrointestinal tract, rehabilitation after the infection sicknesses beared.
This BAA composition has no foreign and native analogues.
Application in leather production.We have discovered the significant content of the tanning agents (10-20%) in the underground parts of Rumex K-1 (roots and rhizomes) that allow to create the tanning additives (group of the vegetative polyphenols) capable to tan the rough leather and to produce it as the real leather. Such capacity of the tanning agents is based on their interaction with albumen of the leather coverings - collagen, which results in forming the structures resistant to the process of the leather putrefaction.
